Other Repressive Organizations

(2) Unions (CTC)
The role of unions is to support the administrative staff or government job managers to exert on workers a similar control as that of the CDR . Unions collect money (everything is seemingly voluntary, but it is really mandatory) in every paycheck whose the purpose or destination nobody knows or understands. They organize meetings, productive works, emulation rallies, parades, guard duties out of the workers' shift, the study of political documents or Castro's speeches, mandatory sports, recreational, military and cultural activities which constitute endless parameters to measure workers' attitude, and if the person does not fulfill, his work will be at stake because every month there is a political evaluation where all activities are analyzed before the whole group of workers and honor pins are granted to achievers but black pins are given to those who do not accomplish the tasks. Every national ministry has a union counterpart at all levels, and there are workers who only do this type of job and unions are structured in a similar way as a CDR with a Secretary General and a staff that control each of the above mentioned spheres. Unions and CDRs have a close relationship in exchanging information about workers/neighbors as well as with the rest of the organizations of the system.

Unions also organize military preparations, mandatory celebrations, collect money for weapon purchase (to defend the homeland), and program labor changes, which means that the worker spends one day working in a cane or potato field and not in his office, factory, or school. The worker has to get up at 4 o'clock a.m, climb into a big and uncomfortable truck, and travel miles away to spend the day under the sun only to get back hungry, tired, hopeless and muddy, but with extra merits. If any worker is a good worker but does not fulfill his obligations with the unions, he is definitely a bad worker.

(3) Young Communist League (UJC)
This is a selective political organization that recruits young people up to thirty years of age. This is the preparation stage for the Communist Party. This membership implies political meetings to analyze other workers' behavior, lots of emulation checking meetings, lots of productive works, lots of papers to fill out to control people, lots of guard duties, and various other types of sacrifice. A UJC member has practically no time of his own. He is like the old soviet Komsomol. He has to be an example of sacrifice, and he is highly repressive with non-members.
People accept being processed to become members because this gives them a protective shield in the system where they are respected and feared and can get any career or job they want. Being a member is a requirement for a good job, for a promotion, for a University career like Medicine or Dentistry, or for the necessity of being regarded as honest or decent by the public opinion.
The idea of honesty is measured by political integration. Any job application has as its first space to be filled out: POLITICAL INTEGRATION and that
indeed decides whether the person can get the job or not.

(4) Communist Party of Cuba (PCC)
This organization is quite similar to the UJC, but it selects people older than thirty. This selective group normally implies and demands almost exactly all the same duties, responsibilities, activities, special rights, respect, and honor as the UJC, but party members are usually promoted to managerial positions to run a factory, a school, a hospital, a sugarcane mill, or any enterprise. Being a PCC member is a requirement to run or manage any institution.
The member could even be promoted to first Secretary of the Party of the municipality or province like, say, a city Mayor or a Senator in the United Statesor join the "Commander in Chief" in the Political Bureau or Central Committee of his totalitarian government according to his rank so as to advise the dictator or help reelect him.
These party leaders are the top authorities in their territories, and they control all the economic, social, and political decisions in their regions. These people never rest due to the amount of responsibility laid upon their shoulders and also because they must periodically report to Castro about the situation in their provinces.

(5) Federation of Cuban Women (FMC)
This is another massive political organization devoted to the control of women's life with similar activities, duties, and responsibilities as the ones already mentioned. All women should belong to the FMC, as well as all the population should belong to the CDR, and all workers should belong to the unions. Otherwise the person is illegal and banned.
If a woman wants any benefit, job, or grant, she should bring a letter from that organization saying that she has a good revolutionary attitude in order to deserve that merit.
Any worker who applies for a job or job transfer, undergoes a political investigation basically in his CDR. If the opinion given is not good, the transfer, the job or promotion will not be granted. For making these decisions honesty, moral values, decency, intelligence, good behavior etc are never taken into account

(6) Union of Cuban Pioneers (UPC)
Even kids are involved in repression. This is an organization for schoolkids, so every school student should automatically become a pioneer. Here the kids are taught to love the system, the patriotic Communist symbols, the Communist historical dates and its martyrs. They are taught to hate the evil Yankee Imperialism.
One of their slogans is "Pioneers for Communism": We shall be like Che Guevara. "(Ernesto Guevara who first fought in Africa exporting revolutions for Castro and was later killed in Bolivia)
This is one of the initial brainwashing procedures which will be linked with a
total politically oriented education. No more comments are needed.

(7) National Revolutionary Police (PNR)
Protect and serve is not the Cuban police slogan. On the contrary it is "repress and harass." Every citizen is suspicious or guilty, mainly of political crimes, until proven otherwise. These police can stop anyone in the street and ask him for his ID and political integration. After a questioning, that person could be under arrest if anything not satisfactory is found. For example, someone is carrying a package containing food or other products without a permit or possesses excessive amounts of one type of food or product or is suspected to carry stolen goods or food to survive. Searches are frequently carried out in houses with that purpose.

(8) Ministry of the Interior (MININT) (Security)
The MININT is the security organ of the state. There are officers in uniform who have to do with political affairs such as Customs, Immigration, or Foreign policy among others. But what is much worse is that there are lots of non-uniformed officers at large around streets, jobs, schools, and everywhere, who are the ones that are after the enemies of the Revolution or whose purpose is to listen to any comment against the system so as to arrest that person.

Anyone can be sentenced for a year in jail in Cuba just for saying that the system is useless or something like that. If written evidence of that comment is found, the sentence can be up to five years in jail.
From my personal experience, a brother-in-law of mine served five years in jail because they found in a search in his house a sign saying "Fidel Murderer."

That was all they found, but it was considered "enemy propaganda." He underwent psychological and physical torture, and like every political prisoner in Cuba, he had to endure hunger, humiliation, bad treatment, and unbelievably rough living conditions.

These political prisoners are denied the right to declare themselves as political. They let them die if they are sick; they are humilliated; they are tortured and these tortures have made many go crazy or others are declared as crazy in order to give them an unnecessary psychiatric treatment as a means of torture, their cells have the most terrible conditions without the least hygiene and minimum humane conditions for a person to live, the food if can be called like that is like rotten manure that not even animals would dare to eat. They are considered common criminals and joined with common criminals and murderers on purpose to deny that there is political opposition in Cuba. All Cuban prisons are characterized by awful living conditions and there are hundreds of them in jail just for having different ideas as the dictator and for having dared to express them.

In a trial there is really no defense attorney for those kinds of political prisoners because he will only be a puppet who will beg the prosecutor for mercy in less punishment (like give him 9 years instead of 10) but the accused will always have to be guilty for him, otherwise he would also get into trouble.

Besides, the communist constitution has created names of "crimes' that are punished, like: offense to the figure of the "Commander in Chief", attempt against the powers of the state, enemy propaganda, counterrevolution etc.
Castro introduces disguised MININT officers everywhere to have a full control of the population in all of its spheres, so, once again, nobody knows who is who. So, it is better for a person to shut up and be quiet, put up with the situation with patience, and long for better times than it is to confess inner feelings which might put the person in danger of being turned in. Cubans have given up the idea of overthrowing Castro. It is a tough task. They'd better hope in silence they can leave the country some day or wish the dictator would die. That turns out to be safer than risking to protest, to rebel or to make dangerous comments.

(9) Revolutionary Armed Forces (FAR) (Army)
The Army is always prepared for imaginary "yankee" invasions. High ranking officers are bribed with a higher standard of living. They all have better houses, Russian cars, phones, better salaries, and larger rations of food such as chicken, milk, canned meat, and liquors which the population is not entitled to.
Army officers are boastful, repressive, hideous, and repetitive machines of hallow slogans; most of them know from the bottom of their hearts that they are embarked in the system for good, and that this is the only card they can play
When Cubans get to the age of 16 they are called to the army to fulfill with the Mandatory Military Service in which they have to stay for 3 years doing military training and preparation and in the past there existed an organization called Youngsters Army of Labor where the teenagers were sent to work for 3 years in agricultural plantations.

(10) Association of Cuban Farmers (ANAP)
This organization "represents" and controls all farmers in the country so that everyone in all spheres of life be completely checked and repressed
In the past and among many of his contradictory statements and deceiving strategies and tactics to get people's confidence, Castro said he had given all land, he had nationalized, to farmers in order to later take it all for himself.

(11) Militia of Territorial Troops (MTT)
This is a "popular- military" organization recently created by the system in order to involve the whole Cuban population in the military. They have given out uniforms and organized training lessons and absurd maneuvers where they teach the people military techniques and strategies to prepare them for the "All the people's war against the Yankees". These sessions are scheduled on weekends and attendance is mandatory where a repressive control is exerted on people and these members must support the organization by also giving money to it.

If all this were not true, would I spend hours taking my time to spread it?
What would I win with it but wasting my time? What for then?
Why believe the propaganda of a person bearing the record of the longest dictatorship in history?

Why are there so many who still think this is all a lie or an exaggeration?
All the people in Miami called by Castro "maffia" are really very unhappy and frustrated people who have undergone these same conditions, have been forced to leave the island, their homeland and are also making an effort to spread the truth about their country and also want to overthrow the dictator to see their country free. All of them live longing for their own Cuba made of nostalgia and their only handicap, sin and big mistake is that they are divided without 1 leader that can guide them to victory as has happened with peoples throughout history and the dictator knows it and so far has taken advantage of it but anyhow more than a million people saying the same thing even though they have their differences can't be lying.

The image of Castro as a myth or a legend for those who still seem to admire him should be erased, on the contrary he should be accused as prosecuted as traitor to the homeland because he is openly guilty of the slow, but steady destruction of Cuba and its people.

Cuba can be compared with one of Hitler's concentration camps. The German "fuhrer" had barbed wire around the prisoners, and he used to kill fast. Cuba's
so-called commander in chief has the sea as his barbed wire, but he prefers to kill slowly; he just lives making use of his obsolete, empty slogans and false promises letting people die or having them wait for him to die.
For these and many more reasons, the real maffia is there in Cuba headed by Castro, who kills, deals with drugs, intrudes in other countries' internal affairs to export his system and does a host of more so far unknown crimes to mankind just for the sake of keeping the power and his cruel and monstrous communism alive, so instead of saying the Miami Maffia a new and better phrase should be instead used: THE HAVANA MAFFIA!
CUBANS SHOULD ALL UNITE TO OVERTHROW THE DICTATOR!
