Dirty
The system is so dirty that it even allows its leaders to be corrupt as long
as they still pledge to it regarding, for example and among other things,
the use of money from drugs for the exportation of revolutions and/or for
the preparation of mercenaries to be sent to other countries. A famous case
was that of General Arnaldo Ochoa and his followers; many of them officials
of the Cuban Army in Angola, who were accused of drug dealing, judged in
public and some condemned to be shot to death. In fact that money was really
the result of that activity but what was not said is that such activity was
ordered by the very Castro and the real reason for the trial was that Castro
had had evidence by his incredible system of spies and informers, that Ochoa
and his followers might betray him and he applied his never failing law of
not forgiving, prime requirement to keep the power.
The dictator, besides, has always gotten advantage of his enemies'
weaknesses, division, lack of organization and ambitions, and also from
those who make a living out of the system, to, in turn, stay alive due to
these very facts; strengthening his power also with the development of a
double-moral behavior inside the country.
Examples of this are Marti TV and Radio, Cuban-American Foundation Radio and
other anti-Castro organizations that have either collapsed or been
unsuccessful to overthrow the system in Cuba due to the lack of a real,
unique and recognized leader, to failures, mistakes, internal ambitions and
interests, loss of a real ideal of patriotism in some cases, tiredness of
waiting for an outcome, contradictions and lack of unity among them that he
knows do exist and gets good profit of this knowledge. Castro has also
infiltrated spies even in Miami.
Castro also takes advantage of the familes in exile who wish to see their
relatives in the island and charges them extremely high prices for their
trip and stay in the country that visitors are forced to accept because
literally those relatives are hostages under his control and are also the
bait that compels families in exile to pay those prices and indirectly help
the dictator.
Inside the country, people fear retaliation and they do and say what they do
not feel either hoping for his death or longing to find a way to leave the
country whereas the policy of overseas propaganda of the system confuses and
misleads people from different countries accomplished and devised by its
leader, who is really a psychologist in convincing and deceiving popular
masses.
One of his hopes is wait, no matter what and keep the power at all cost
hoping for another world order change to come so that Communism may come up
alive again
Castro knows that Communism is not completely dead after the collapse of the
Soviet Union as many may believe. It is regrouping again and spreading with
other names everywhere and Castro contributes to its growth.
Another important chapter in Castro's history of propaganda was Elian's case
Castro where his father was bribed or bought and who knows if blackmailed or
threatened to make him claim for his son the way he did in order to try to
show once more that parents prefer their sons to grow in Cuba rather than in
the US because the island has a better society and little Elian was a victim
of that policy. This strategy also made use of the feelings of many American
people who believed the dad-wants-to-be-with-son story and who do not know
the devices of dirty bribery and blackmail that Castro uses. What is certain
is that many parents would prefer not to see their children again and send
them to live in the US as they did many years ago in the Peter Pan
Operation.
Besides, historically and maybe due to many reasons related to the
democratic basis of the US nation or to the lack of importance the US has
given to such a small island like Cuba, all American Governments and
presidents have been too benign and gentle with the dictator in all of their
encounters with him and it seems that he always gets away with what he wants
and unwillingly they have made the monster more powerful as if also haunted
by the same spell.
Castro has mixed with all kinds of movements around the world, no matter
their origin and purpose ir order to attack the US and at the same time to
create and export revolutions that may put out of balance world order on the
favor of communism. Castro always insisted on his speeches that armed fight
was the only solution for the "liberty" of countries exploited by the "
Yankee Imperialism" and with that purpose he contacted terrorist and
guerrilla groups and supplied them with help, training in the island and
weapons.
Allied to the USSR, he either exported, supported or provided training for
revolutions and guerrilla fronts in Africa, Asia and Latin America in
countries like Nicaragua (the Sandinistas), the Dominican Republic, Chile,
Colombia, Paraguay, Honduras, Uruguay, Haiti, Venezuela, Argentina,
Guatemala, Bolivia, Brazil, El Salvador, Congo, Angola, Sudan, Algeria,
Yemen, Ethiopia, Somalia, Western Sahara and had exchanges and cooperation
with Iraq and Libya.
He also supported and helped members of the US Black Power, Puerto Rican,
Palestinian, Spanish, Peruvian and Irish terrorist groups, joining,
following and monitoring every organization in the world that sounded
anti-American, repeating over and over his theory that the Yankee
Imperialism is an evil power, guilty for the problems and sufferings of the
world, spreading propaganda on how to make revolutions and creating
organizations for that purpose and also trying to destabilize American life
and system.
He has also offered medical and educational help (even giving away resources
needed by the Cuban people and scarce in the island saying they were
"leftovers" from his economy, which is also part of his misleading
propaganda) to many of the countries in those areas trying to establish
political links and provide communist ideas as a way of intrusion and
infiltration trying to modify and penetrate the country's internal politics
in order also to look for more governments allied for his cause. Throughout
his long life in the power, some examples of this "search" for "leftist"
supportive governments or allied are his cooperation among others with
Nasser in Egypt, Salvador Allende in Chile, Daniel Ortega in Nicaragua, El
Kadaffi from Libya, and now Lula da Silva in Brazil, but basically Hugo
Chavez in Venezuela where right now there are approximately 40 000 Cubans on
help "missions".
Many temporary African governments whose leaders visited Cuba but were later
overthrown were also in Castro's plans for the same policy and he even had
the inner false illusion that socialist Francois Mitterrand in France would
be from his flock.
It can be said that Castro has been the too long forgiven in World History.
