Fidel Castro: Devil on earth
Since his years as a student, Fidel
Castro participated in different violent acts in the University of Havana,
distributed anti-US propaganda and was openly against the governments in the
power as a rebel without cause. Born in a middle-class family, he early
developed a strong phobic hatred against North America with a strange envy
of "not being able to be" turned into antagonism, despair, rancor or
something of the kind, always guided by an addiction to violence and a way
of "operating", basically after taking political power that implied setting
his goals and achieving them no matter what means he would have to use or
who fell on the way, also using his undeniable evil wit, ruthlessly
eliminating anyone or anything that stood on his way.
Castro has gotten rid of numberless of his
former comrades of struggle and ideals using the old Roman Emperors' style
since the former have made mistakes when they have either thought or acted
differently from him, been more outstanding, beloved or popular than him,
have also meant a potential danger for him, have "diverted" from the path he
indicated to follow or have simply been an obstacle for his plans and for
this purpose he has not spared in using lies, false testimony, tricks, dirty
stratagems, dark intrigue and well devised plans to get his goals and put
them out of the game erasing them from his system as a virus like the main
computer. This dangerously crazy "commander-in-chief" does not only possess
the above explained "quality" but during almost half a century he has
specialized in deceiving the people and in filling their minds with false
promises, constantly renewed goals, hollow slogans, compulsive repetitions
of the contrary of what you think, with a total prohibition of liberty of
expression, mandatory parades, meaningless marches and movilizations, failed
economical plans, contradictory political statements and ideas, fake
invasions and false alarms in order to have the Cuban people busy or
hypnotized always with something new so as to make them forget the real
problems they are facing, blaming the American president of the time or the
evil Yankees for all of his errors, also in implacably repressing and
watching every single move of people's lives, in imprisonment, retaliation,
lack of democratic elections, torture, executions without a trial or trials
without a defense attorney, disappearance, the sudden discredit of formerly
praised leaders ready to be "purged" or removed from their positions,
misery, hunger, lack of first need products, total lack of respect of human
rights, apartheid against the Cuban national, total manipulation of news and
great art in hiding unwanted truths, brainwashing, domestic and foreign
misinformation, bribe, blackmail, mercenary wars, denying being a communist
in order to openly declare it in public years later, turning garrisons into
schools and asking himself: "Weapons... what for ?" in order to turn the
whole country a few years later in a big garrison full of "uniformed people"
ready to fight "all the people's war", also saying , when Cubans abroad did
not mean any profit to his system, it was fair that Cubans in exile should
not travel to the island to see their relatives because they knew when they
left it would be for good in order to now say that the new laws by the Bush
administration are unbelievably cruel because his permanence in the power
depends on it. All this has taken place in a mournful parade of decades in a
totally open Box of Pandora, but always trying to proclaim to the world the
island's progress, liberty and economical achievements, like the one that
makes noise with his spoon and his empty plate so that his neighbor may
think he is eating so as to deceive whoever he can while he can, as a
revenge or reaction of a serious trauma suffered by this man during his
childhood.
There are many examples of how the monster,
apart from crushing his people as the major traitor and the greatest shame
in the history of the island and the main person in humiliating the deeds of
the patriots who freed the island from Spain, with his hedious economical,
political and social dictatorship throughout more than four decades, has
manipulated the persons around him in order to achieve his goals and some of
them are worth mentioning:
The first instrument taken by Castro in his campaign has always been Jose
Marti, Cuba's national hero who opposed the Spanish rule through his writing
and in action. Marti was declared by Castro as the intellectual author of
his actions, policies and measures. Everyone knows that Jose Marti always
wanted liberty for Cuba and if he were alive he would have died again
fighting against the dictator.
Another name frequently mentioned in his speeches is that of Ernesto Che
Guevara, an Argentina-native medical doctor who was a traveling adventurer
whom Raul Castro, the dictator's brother and now chief of the Army, met in
Mexico after Guevara had traveled through many Latin American countries and
when Castro was organizing his invasion to Cuba there, Raul Castro
introduced Ernesto Guevara to Fidel Castro and after an exchange and
identification of ideologies, the one who would be called "Che" in the
future( like mate or pal in regional Argentinian Spanish) was accepted by
Castro in the invading army.
The so-called Che was a brave soldier and a
decisive factor in the revolutionaries' victory. After 1959, he had
different leading positions as a minister in Castro's new government till
being sent by the communist leader to "internationalist missions" to Africa
and Latin America, to then become a legendary and mystified figure but in
fact the emblem of a hidden ambassador of the exportation of revolutions
till his death in Bolivia by the end of the decade of the 60's.
A few questions remain also with Che as it did with his Jose Marti: would he
have agreed with Castro in his post-Berlin Wall collapse policy if he had
stayed alive? Was he by chance sent to mercenary wars because it was needed
to get rid of him because he was shining more than the commander? Did
Guevara want to be "smarter" than the Cuban ruler? All of these questions
are part of the dark and mysterious history of this leader to keep the power
during all these years and these are unknown issues difficult to unveil but
what is indeed known is that Marti, other Cuban patriots against Spain like
Antonio Maceo and Maximo Gomez as well as Che are used by Castro as
instruments of his policy.
One real legendary figure for the Cuban people was Camilo Cienfuegos, a man
who really signified and represented that perfect society the Cubans were
looking for when they welcomed Castro. Camilo was a man from the people; he
was in charge, like Che, of one of the guerrilla fronts in the war against
Fulgencio Batista and sometimes it seemed as if the people preferred Camilo
as a leader rather than the very Fidel. After the triumph of the system,
several military officers from the Revolutionary Army showed different ideas
from the ones they were already suspecting Castro had and Castro gave the
order of arresting them.
One of these officers was Commander Huber Matos, now in US exile after years
in jail for showing anti-communist ideas. Matos was in the city of Camaguey
and Commander Camilo Cienfuegos was sent there to arrest him. The popular
leader never returned from Camaguey. He disappeared and Castro later said
that his plane had fallen into the sea but never were any remains found. It
seems that Castro killed two birds with one shot in another of his evil
moves against anyone, no matter who, had ideas other than his own.
Ironically, year after year later he made the people throw flowers into the
sea on the day of his mysterious disappearance. Many Cubans are sure that
Camilo alive would not have allowed Castro to carry Cuba to these conditions
or would have anyhow died.
In the first years of the decade of the 60's, Castro accepted the
installation of Russian earth missiles in the island, thus threatening
world-wide peace and insistently urging Russian leaders to launch those
missiles against North American territory.
In all these years he promoted, trained and supported armed movements apart
from terrorists for the exportation of revolutions or "internationalism"
with a great interference in the internal affairs of many countries all over
the globe, constantly looking for an allied in the world in his mania
against the United States; something that is actually now happening in
Venezuela.
During the peak of that "internationalism", many Cubans were bribed or
blackmailed to fight in foreign countries and many were killed in strange
lands just for the whim of a lunatic who neglected the weak economy of his
country in order to lead a long distance war.
For decades, the Cuban people have seen and undergone on their own flesh all
this infamy and the only answer they have had, has been to try to leave the
country by any means and the Strait of Florida is a secret informer of the
dictator's private cemetery in the sea apart from the one he has inside the
country.
Besides, he has tried to use all massive migrations in his favor, causing
them and trying to destabilize the U.S by sending common prisoners and
criminals during the embarrassing events of the Embassy of Peru and the
Mariel apart from planning the Guantanamo exodus like a chess player so as
to release the pressure like that of a cooker that was already suffocating
him. The American government has always underestimated him and has let it
act freely but this character will always be a potentially dangerous enemy
of the northern country.
As a strategist of evil and knowing his condition as a dictator, he will not
trust anybody and therefore he changes his bodyguards regularly, closely
watches his high rank officials and employees, moves them constantly from
position to position and he who fails, disappears or falls in "purge" as
happened to Luis Orlando Dominguez, Roberto Robaina and Carlos Aldana among
others, once respected, praised and distinguished but degraded for sinning
with the dictator for different reasons and condemned according to their
guilt and among the most serious and famous cases are the mysterious heart
attack in jail of the former head of the Ministry of the Interior Jose
Abrantes and the public trials of generals Arnaldo Ochoa, Tony and Patricio
de La Guardia and their followers, accused of dealing with drugs and
diamonds during the war in Angola; this accusation taken as a pretext,
deception or curtain to hide the real reason of an attempt of coup d'etat to
the old dictator in which the two former were shot to death as a warning
that the regime does not forgive. Many of these incidents have been left
totally unpublished and only the closest to the secret life of this modern
Cardinal of Richelieu will reveal them in a future if they remain alive
after the weight of justice, slow but sure, falls on them.
While Cubans flee from the island or slowly die of all kinds of needs and
prisoners rot in prisons with infra humane conditions, Castro continues
speaking of honor and justice.
Facts as the ones narrated, describe how abominable life in Cuba is and has
been for more than 40 years; they degrade the Cuban nationality but
simultaneously portray the diabolic personality of the monster that
unfortunately had to be born in Cuba.
