The cuban involution: Is it normal that...?
During 45 years, spokesmen of the Cuban
government headed by their senior guide have made an strong effort to
"advertise" in a very dedicated and exclusive way the advantages of the
badly called "revolution" in the island with information for mandatory and
repetitive domestic consumption under risk of punishment if rejected and
with a theory for overseas public opinion that has distorted until now the
incredible internal reality like the person who clanks his spoon against his
plate at the time of eating so that his neighbor can hear him but the plate
is empty. Now, at these moments of greater death rattle, these defenders of
the "nothing" stubbornly keep calling hollow slogans and rotten principles,
comparing the US with the worst of its society, forgetting to compare the
present island of punishment with the old Pearl of the Caribbean .
The phrase: "The Commander arrived and put an end to it" exactly coincides
with what happened after 1959 when, after promising a nationalistic regime
as green as palm trees, of the people, by the people and for the people,
with the slogan of: weapons, what for? and with the promise to turn all
garrisons into schools, he has now done all the opposite, betraying those
ideals, ambitions and hopes of millions of Cubans that instead of seeing
welfare and progress, have witnessed and undergone misery, hunger, total
shortage of everything, repression, death, jail, destruction and an
involution of the country in hundreds of years in history as if driven by a
time machine.
In this great loss of the values of more than a generation, everyone has
been affected, from young to old ones and from bought or mandated supporters
to opponents. With such insults, the dictator, who has imposed so many
unjust sentences, should condemn himself of high treason to his homeland and
if he had the honor which he widely lacks, he would either resign to his
position or commit suicide but History that according to his own version was
going to acquit him, is now sentencing him to a capital punishment.
Those spokesmen of the traitor and his dictatorship could be asked:
Is it normal that in a country.............?
--- There has been a coupon notebook for 45 years for rationing food,
clothes and other first need products?
--- Workers get paid in a type of currency and have to make their expenses
using another one of a greater value?
--- Salaries are never enough?
--- Professionals must become salesmen or traders to survive?
--- There are no medications?
--- People live with hunger and torn clothes?
--- There is no transportation?
--- A president would not hold elections for more than 4 decades?
---There are power outages day and night?
--- There is no water most of the time?
--- All private property should become government property?
--- People should be forced to live on "self-consumption" plans with plants
grown in their house garden or backyard?
--- Slogans with things nobody feels must be repeated on a mandatory basis?
--- Thoughts, complaints and opinions cannot be FREELY expressed or stated?
--- There are massive repressive organizations in every block, job or
school?
--- Citizens' life and single movements be strictly controlled?
--- Mandatory activities be carried out in a mandatory way against people's
will for fear to retaliation?
--- Education be politicized?
--- People should actively integrate in the country's political activities
in order to be able not only to achieve progress, get a good job or career
but to live in peace?
--- Going to other countries as a mercenary should be necessary to get a
good position in society?
--- There is no defense attorneys?
--- There is only a single political party?
--- There is no housing availability for the whole population?
--- The nationals of the country may become second-class citizens looked
down on by foreigners?
--- God should be denied to survive?
--- Jail must be served for thinking and talking?
--- People may be discriminated for their political ideas?
--- It would be necessary to die intending to travel out of it?
--- There are massive migratory waves?
--- Its citizens be forced to live in exile?
--- All wish and hope with anxiety and in silence that their president dies?
What do they defend then?
