He is a n independent journalists, the director of the independent library- Los Reyes Magos, and the director of the Foro por la Reforma. Arroyo Carmona has been in prison on several occasions. Arroyo Carmona work and activities have made him well known outside of Cuba. This is why the Castro Regime has made him a repeated target, arresting him often and sentencing him to long prison terms.
