Review: José Miguel Martínez Hernández is an independent
librarian, a member of the Movimiento 24 de Febrero and of the Citizen
Committee of the Varela Project. The Castro regime will stop at nothing
to maintain their reign of terror. Regardless of who the opposition is
or what methods it employs the government is relentless in their pursuit
to silence them. The dissemination of culture and information which is
not approved by the government is a felony in communist Cuba which
carries a long prison sentence as is the case of José Miguel Martínez
Hernández: who is serving a 13 year sentence for providing the cuban
people with other non government sanctioned points of view.
