Review: Valle Hernández has had a long history of involvement in
labor organizations. He has been a strong advocate for the rights of the
cuban worker. The cuban laborer does not enjoy any rights since the
Cuban government is the only beneficiary of the common laborer efforts
and contributions to society.
Valle Hernández is confined in deplorable and inhumane conditions, as
are all prisoners of conscience in Cuba, because he has openly expressed
his differences with the Castro government and has called for the rights
of workers and labor unions to be implemented.
