Camagüey Organization: Movimiento 5 de Agosto Family: Margarita Deulofeu (wife) Address: Entronque de Herradura. Kilómetro 1 ½ Carretera San Andrés. Pinar del Río. Review: As it has become customary, the officials from the Cuban State Security enter the home of Díaz Fleitas without a warrant or any legal permission whatsoever. Díaz Fleitas and his family were the subjects of very repressive treatment without having any legal recourse. Mrs. Díaz Fleitas declared “they took everything, magazines, radio, a cuban flag, etc…” On August 5th a group of cuban citizens gathered near the ‘Malecón’ (a sea wall overlooking Havana’s harbor) and expressed their frustrations with the communist regime’s lack of freedom. Díaz Fleitas is serving a long prison sentence far Hawai from his loved ones. This is how Castro’s tyrannical system not only punishes its opponents, but also their families.
