Camaguey Organization: Movimiento Independiente Opción Alternativa Family: Anabel Pérez Hernández (wife) Address: Calle 22 #2103-A e/ 21 y 23 Pedro Betancourt. Matanzas Review: Ariel and two of his brothers are in prison as a result of their opposition to Castro’s tyranny. The Sigler Amaya family has been strongly reprimanded and subjected to protests by mobs which are encouraged and backed by the government in their hometown of Pedro Betancourt. Ariel has been confined to a prison located 500 Km from his hometown. The great distance and the government’s harassment make it very difficult for them to visit Ariel. Both Ariel and his family have demonstrated extraordinary strength and courage in their struggle to be free and agaisnt Ariel’s arbitrary imprisoment.
