Official launching
of “Cuba under Socialism, in the voice of its own people" by the Center
for Research and Cuban Studies with the acronym in Spanish C.I.E.C., in
the city of Miami.
By this means, we are informing the
media, the international public opinion, and our compatriots and friends
for the freedom of Cuba, that the Center for Research and Cuban Studies
with the acronym in Spanish C.I.E.C., has been constituted here in the
city of Miami; with the purpose of working in the collection, processing
and documentation of all the testimonies and material needed for our
project: “Cuba under Socialism, in the voice of its own people.”
This new project is divided into three fundamental guidelines: The
publishing of a book that will include thousands of written testimonies
given voluntarily by people who have worked, got an education and lived
through the experience of the socialist regime in Cuba, a video library
intended for those who wish to give their videotaped testimonies and a
synthesized version of each case will be placed on our Web site.
