The Liberal Union in Cuba accepts new organizations of the opposition.

SANTA CLARA, CUBA - March 4 (Guillermo Farinas Hernandez, Cubanacan Press / Puenteinfocubamiami.org) – In order to strengthen liberalism in the island nation, last February 27th, the Liberal Union of the Republic of Cuba with the acronym ULRC), accepted new organizations of the Cuban opposition under its umbrella.

The Board of Coordinators of the ULRC, met to evaluate applications made by different dissident entities at the home of the organization’s General Coordinator (ai) Francisco Chaviano Gonzalez, located at 236 # 126 Street between First - and Third, Jaimanitas, Playa municipality.

According to Chaviano González, part of the entity he temporarily represent are; Opponents of the Movement for a New Republic, headed by former - political prisoner Jose Diaz Silva, as well as the Support Group for “Change” presided by Ludis Rodriguez Diaz.

Also accepted were the Independent Christian Movement “Religious Missionaries in Action" led by Raisi Campanioni Corvalán, Cooperative of the Isle of Pines Independent Ceramic Workers, leaded by Vladimir Arana Rosa and the Echo pacifist Movement "Nature’s Peace" by Alberto Diaz Cardenas.

"In coming days, we will assess the enrollment of other civil society organizations independent to the government, and for that, we are optimistic," finished saying Francisco Chaviano.
